The Central Library will hold a special exhibition 「いきいきと暮らせる健康長寿社会パネル展」.

"いきいきと暮らせる健康長寿社会パネル展"is a panel exhibition being held in various parts of Akita City to introduce Akita City's Age-Friendly City initiatives.
"Age-Friendly City" is a concept advocated by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Akita City has been working to become an age-friendly city since 2009, and in addition to awareness-raising activities, it also collaborates with partner businesses and holds workshops.

In conjunction with the panel exhibition, books on elderly friendliness, universal design, urban development, and more will also be on display.
