The Affiliated Library will hold a special exhibition "Miura Bunko" .

In front of the elevator on the 2nd floor of the Central Library
"Miura Bunko" is a collection of books and magazines related to psychology and crime victim support donated by the parents of Kayoko Miura (then a third-year student in the Faculty of Education and Culture/20 years old), whose precious life was taken in a traffic accident in April 2001.
To commemorate her death before she could achieve her goals and to provide an opportunity to reexamine the importance of life, we will be exhibiting some of the materials from "Miura Bunko".

In conjunction with this exhibition, panels from "犯罪被害者
"犯罪被害者いのちのパネル展" is held throughout the prefecture, including at various events hosted by the Akita Prefectural Police Headquarters and police stations.
With the cooperation of people who have lost loved ones in traffic accidents and other incidents, the exhibit panels feature photographs of the victims and the thoughts of their families.
